Happy Friday! Have you tried Efes yet? It’s the only Turkish beer I’ve had; they carry it bottled at this bar my friend Liz and I like to go called notsuoh (Houston backwards, clever right?). In my opinion, beer is better on tap than bottled so take advantage of your location.
i’ve actually had about 10 more Rakis than Efes, but yeah, it’s not bad. seems like it’s the only beer on tap, really. we’re still not clear on what ‘efes’ means, since it appears to be more than just the beer name. also, ‘notsuoh’ could easily be a turkish word.
